The weather this week may be miserable, but our schedule of opportunities to learn and connect this October is definitely not! In this special edition of our newsletter we are bringing you the full line up of our events, making it easy for you to sign up to start your Q4 strong!
Tuesday 1st October – 9:30am – Drafting an Effective Notice Of Seeking Possession (Online) – This course, led by experienced Housing Management Solicitor Amy Stirton, provides essential training for officers drafting Notices of Seeking Possession (NSPs), covering practical skills, legal requirements, grounds for possession, rules of service, and best practices to increase confidence and effectiveness in tenancy enforcement.
Tuesday 15th October – A Celebration of the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014 – Our inaugural in person event which is not to be missed! Join us in Birmingham or select an online ticket to celebrate 10 years of the CPA, discover new perspectives and network with your peers.
Tuesday 15th October – 9:30am – Drafting an Effective Civil Witness Statements (Online) – This course, delivered by experienced Housing Management Solicitor Amy Stirton, equips officers in Housing, Local Authority, or Policing with the essential skills and legal knowledge to confidently draft effective civil witness statements for ASB cases, covering best practices, civil procedure rules, statement drafting, and handling exhibits.
Wednesday 23rd October – All Day – Level 2 ASB Case Management Principles (In-Person) – Limited Tickets Remaining. This course, suitable for both new and experienced ASB practitioners across Housing, Local Authority, and Policing, provides comprehensive training to enhance case management skills, address common challenges, and ensure practices align with current policies, ultimately equipping participants with an accredited qualification and immediately applicable skills.
Tuesday 29th October – 9:30 – An Advanced Guide to the ASB Injunction (Online) – This advanced course, led by experienced solicitor Amy Stirton, is designed for experienced ASB officers seeking to enhance their skills in preparing, filing, and presenting injunction cases, providing in-depth knowledge of legislation, drafting applications, civil procedure rules, and courtroom presentation, with practical experience and template documents included.
Wednesday 30th October – 9:30 – Effective ASB Case Supervision (Online) – This course, delivered by experienced ASB practitioner Katy Anderson, is designed for supervisors in Local Authority, Housing, or Policing who oversee ASB case officers, providing guidance on structuring effective case supervision, meeting regulatory requirements, overcoming common case challenges, and fostering a continuous improvement environment to enhance officer support, job satisfaction, and service quality.
