Anti-social behaviour (ASB) isn’t a problem exclusive to social housing, yet it can feel more challenging for agencies to deal with when occurring in the private sector, where they don’t have the deterrence that having a tenancy agreement can bring.
Changes to the possession process within the private rented sector means likely that agencies may need to step in earlier and do more to help private landlords tackle ASB.
In this episode, Janine is joined by Sue Bryer, a private landlord trainer who also has experience in renting out properties. They discuss the proposed upcoming changes, as well as some advice and guidance for how agencies and private landlords can best work together to address ASB and support victims.
