Debating the ASB Action Plan Webinar

On Monday 27th March 2023, Rishi Sunak launched the ASB Action Plan, setting out the focus and commitments for tackling ASB in the coming months and years.

So, I decided to host a FREE webinar to debate the ASB Action Plan and over 500 people signed up to attend.

The webinar bought together representatives from Council, Police, Housing and Legal to discuss the content of the plan, explore the impact that it might have on respective agencies and really consider whether it is the magic bullet for tackling ASB and supporting victims. The 75 minute session included an overview of the main points within the plan, covered by myself, before continuing on to the group discussion.

We asked the Linkedin community to put forward suggestions for topics and the most popular was looking at managing persistent complainants. So that’s what we decided to focus the session  on!

I explore what we mean by persistent complainants and when persistency becomes unreasonable, the types of questions we should ask ourselves and some of the solutions we might take.

Lindsay considers what we should do when legal action becomes necessary, what actions  are available to use and the steps we should take during case management to ensure the strongest applications.
