Why We’re Growing the G&B Partnership – And What It Means for ASB Practitioners

Published: July 2026

Building stronger practice through shared expertise

One of the things we’ve always believed at G&B ASB Associates is that tackling anti-social behaviour is rarely about one organisation having all the answers.

The best outcomes happen when housing providers, police, local authorities and community safety partners work together, sharing knowledge, challenging each other and learning from different perspectives.

That’s why we’re delighted to announce that Jo Grimshaw will be joining G&B ASB Associates as a Partner from September 2026.

Why Jo?

For many people working in the sector, Jo will need little introduction.

She brings more than 24 years of policing experience, having led and shaped anti-social behaviour practice at both an operational and strategic level. Throughout her career she has developed a reputation for practical thinking, collaborative working and an unwavering commitment to improving outcomes for victims and communities.

Those qualities align perfectly with what G&B has always stood for.

More than business growth

It’s easy to think of partnership announcements as business news.

For us, this is something much more significant.

Our ambition has never simply been to grow G&B.

Our ambition is to improve practice.

As legislation changes, regulatory expectations evolve and ASB becomes increasingly complex, practitioners need practical, evidence-based support more than ever.

By bringing together expertise from policing, housing and community safety, we’re strengthening our ability to provide that support.

What won’t change

Although our team is growing, our approach remains exactly the same.

Everything we do is guided by one simple principle:

Improving practice. Reducing harm.

Whether we’re delivering training, reviewing services, supporting complex cases or developing new guidance, our aim is always to translate legislation, policy and best practice into confident frontline action.

Jo’s perspective

Speaking about joining the partnership, Jo said:

“I am incredibly thrilled to be joining the partnership at such a pivotal time for community safety and tackling ASB… ASB practitioners are on the frontline of safeguarding our communities, and they deserve the very best tools, guidance and collective expertise available.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Looking ahead

The coming months promise to be an important period for everyone working in ASB.

With further developments expected around the Crime and Policing Act, the Closure Order consultation and wider changes across the sector, we’ll continue to provide practical guidance through:

  • The G&B ASB Brief
  • Free webinars
  • Practice Notes
  • Training and consultancy
  • Our Resource Hub

Our goal remains simple: to help practitioners feel more confident, make better decisions and achieve better outcomes for the communities they serve.
